Statue of Radegast on Radhošť mountain
Visit the mysterious and legendary Slavic god Radegast, whose home since time immemorial has been the mountain Radhošť. According to Slavic legends, Radegast visited ordinary people in disguise and enjoyed their hospitality - he is a god symbolising hospitality, harvest, and abundance. The famous Czech beer Radegast bears his name and likeness. You can admire the statue on the ridge way below Radhošt between the chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius, and Pustevny.

The above-ground panoramic Valaška Trail is 610 meters long, with the forest section to the tower being 390 meters long and the rest being a walkway to the 22-meter-high cascading tower. You can learn about the past and present in Horečky in an attractive form. the most popular parts of the trail include an 85m long skywalk, where you can observe life in the treetops. Under the roof of the amphitheatre you can see an exhibition with silhouettes of birds of prey.

The Tatra automobile manufacturer presents a magnificent collection of the most beautiful automobiles and curiosities in the museum. The museum exhibits about 70 automobiles, countless models, engines and world-class unique items. Among the most sought-after and interesting is the repeated construction of the first automobile in Austria-Hungary. This "horseless carriage", as the Präsident car was popularly called, was manufactured in Kopřivnice at the end of the 19th century and in 1898 successfully represented the art of Kopřivnice mechanics at a ceremonial exhibition in Vienna. The repeated construction is a faithful copy of the original, built according to the technical and photographic documentation of the time in the 1970s.
Buckwheat mill in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm.
Come and look at how buckwheat is shucked using the traditional mechanical method, and try out the buckwheat products. Millers from the Šmajstrl family have been milling buckwheat here for four generations since 1861. You need only phone to arrange a guided tour of the mill. In addition to the experience from the tour, you can also take away healthy buckwheat products with you, as these are for sale ot visitors.

Visit the highest of the Věřovický Peaks, Velký Javorník, to which leads a hiking trail directly from Frenštát pod Radhoštěm. On the north-western slopes of the mountain you can see rock walls and great boulders which fall to the Velký Kámen reservation. There is a wooden viewing tower almost 26 metres tall on the peak. It is open year round. If the weather is clear, you can see from Javorník to Jeseníky, the Oderský Peaks or the Ostrava region. Satisfy your hunger and thirst in the hiking cottage, one of the most frequently visited placed in the Beskydy region.
